The European Society of Extreme Environment Medicine is a new, free, informal society for students and professionals with an interest in this field. It was created to promote the sharing of ideas and resources for anyone with a passion in one or more of 5 subgroups. The subgroups are each headed by passionate leads with expertise in:
• Space Medicine
• Diving Medicine
• Mountain Medicine
• Humanitarian Medicine
• Expedition Medicine
Their hope is that the community will be a space where members can share events they come across, meet speakers at online webinars, network and find out about courses and research projects.
