After a fierce contest with some superb entries, we are very proud to announce the winner of our 2017 Adventure Medic Elective Competition: huge congratulations to Tom Bennett, from Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry!
Choosing our favourite essay was by no means easy, but Tom wrote a lovely piece about his elective in the Himalayan mountains of northern India with the Himalayan Health Exchange; we thoroughly enjoyed reading his reflective, thoughtful article which really hit our brief of ‘adventures great and small’ on the head. Watch this space for his article, which will be published in full shortly.
