Congratulations to Dr Stephen Fabes, who returns to London today after spending the last six years cycling around the world. He has racked up over 83,000 km in 73 countries and crossed six continents: Europe, Africa (via the Middle East), South America, Central and North America, Australia and Asia.
His final blog post ‘The Succour of Homelessness’, discussing his mixed emotions on arriving home, is well worth a read. Few humans in the modern age have undertaken journeys so lengthy, so it is fascinating to read a little of how it feels.
